The inspiration for this audio book came when John made several cd recordings that answered gospel questions and gave these recordings to his three sons. If for some reason John died early in life, he wanted his children to know of his testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Eventually a few friends listened to the recordings and encouraged John to put a book together. Each chapter of the book is an attempt in answering a particular gospel question relating to the Author’s personal experience.
After many years of studying the gospel, the Author had the privilege of baptizing his mother as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Years after the baptism his mother lost her eye sight and is today legally blind. Thus the Author has made each chapter of the book in an audio version. These chapters can be downloaded via the internet to an IPOD, MP3 player or computer hard drive enabling the audio book to be listened to multiple times.
The thoughts and views in the book…. "Mr. Mormon"….. are the sole views and thoughts of the Author. In this capacity the Author is in no way, shape or form representing any official view or doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In his own words, the Author repeatedly says “ I am not a bible scholar but I do love studying the scriptures, and I retain the right to change my opinion or my thoughts on any gospel topic at anytime in the future."
